My approach to Holding Space + Ethics came out of my training with Pixie Lighthorse. Pixie focused on holding space, ceremony, ritual and doing your own work. I also have had many friends and colleagues who work within a therapeutic and psychological model of holding space. I began researching and understanding the psychological model is a good beginning point for my own boundaries and ethics. Through the years of my practice, I found that this was the game changer for me in having a practice. My own work with clients for over a decade helped me develop a heart-centered approach to my strong boundary work as a circle keeper, healer, teacher, and mentor. Through the years, I took the wisdom gained in my training and my own necessary policies + boundaries and began weaving them into my weekly Q&A at Hibiscus Moon Crystal Academy and in the classes I was teaching. Why aren’t we giving our energy healers a framework for ethics? Why aren’t we teaching boundaries? Why aren’t we talking more about how to hold space for others? It was then I realized that I might have to be the one to teach this as its own class.

Frequently Asked Questions
“Is there a prerequisite for taking this class elective?” Although there are no prerequisites to this class and it’s open to anyone, it’s recommended for people who trained in some kind of energy work—Reiki practitioners, crystal practitioners, earth medicine practitioners, or energy healers, or any person who see clients in a therapeutic setting (or would like to). This class teaches about ethics and boundaries. It’s recommended that you’re not brand new to energy work. However, I’ve designed the curriculum so it won’t matter if you’ve taken our certification course previously or not.
“Will this class teach me to be an energy healer?” No. This class expands and deepens your practice as a practitioner. It’s a wonderful addition to your education if you are already an energy worker. This is open to everyone.
“Can I do a payment plan?” If you are struggling with the payment, please check out our options in our shop. We have 2 month payment plan ($100 now/$100 later) and 3 month payment plans ($70 now, then $70 for the next two months, same time!) Reach out to angie@themoonandstone.com to set up a payment plan that works for you. You can choose to pay via PayPal, Venmo, or credit card.
“Will I need any supplies?” No. Not for the classes, though having a pen and paper or favorite note-taking device will be useful, as I go through many specific techniques for the class. There are some optional suggested supplies for the Earth Medicine Practitioner’s Self-Care Guide, but those are not required for this class.
“Is this class held live?” No. All the classes are recorded so you can listen at any time at any place.
“Do I get a certificate of completion?” Not necessarily. If you are looking for a certificate saying your completed this class, please submit a final assignment package to Angie. All the details are in the course at purchase, but you can simply take this class for your own interest without receiving certification.
“Is this course accredited?” Nope.
“How can I ask questions?” All of our lessons have a space to ask questions and read the questions of other students. Angie will pop in and answer the questions asked, so you can have answers from Angie’s perspective. You can also pose questions or discussion questions for other students in our discussion area to continue the wisdom sharing.
